Konichiwa! After a total of 11 concerts in Tokyo, Yokohama and Iwaki, Jaerv has now returned home to Sweden. Japan was incredibly welcoming and a great musical (and gastronomical) injection to the guys in the band. A little music history were also written, as Jaerv was the first Swedish folk group to ever perform at many of the venues they visited, and perhaps the first Swedes in general be invited to tea ceremony with the Mayor of Iwaki, a city of Malmö’s size.
Jaerv has also started to cooperate with one of Japan’s foremost shakuhachi musicians, and they will be touring together both in Sweden and Japan in the near future. Matane!
